This document is only applicable to employees of Blue Ring Digital Services Limited.

"Annual Leave Policy" refers to this Annual Leave Policy.

"You", "Your" refers to You the employee of Blue Ring Digital Services Limited.

"We", "Us", "Our", "Blue Ring Digital Services Limited" refers to Blue Ring Digital Services Limited.

The headings in this Annual Leave Policy are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.

The masculine shall include the feminine and the neuter and the singular the plural and vice versa.

If any provision or part of any provision of this Annual Leave Policy is found by a court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable, such provision or part of a provision shall be deleted from these Annual Leave Policy and the remaining provisions or parts of the provision shall continue to be in full force and effect.

Annual Leave Policy

Annual leave days should be booked in advance and approved by Your line manager prior to taking them.

To maintain adequate cover in each department no more than one employee will be able to take annual leave from the same department at any one time, however this can be modified by the department manager on a case-by-case basis.

No unused annual leave in any annual leave year will be carried over into subsequent years, unless in the unlikely event that We prevent You from taking Your annual leave for business reasons.

In periods of high activity, We may ask You to work at a time when Your preference may be to take annual leave.

Conversely in periods of low activity We may request You take annual leave at a time when Your preference may be to work.

You are encouraged to book Your annual leave early to avoid the possibility of disappointment.


All annual leave requests are to be made using the holiday request form, which can be found in Your online employee account. These will be submitted directly to Your direct manager.

The notice period required to be given, at a minimum, must be twice the number of days of annal leave requested (i.e. if You wish to request 1 weeks annual leave You would need to give 2 weeks notice).

The if Your annual leave is approved or rejected this will be recorded against Your request and You will be notified by email. You will also be able to check the status from the annual leave section within Your online employee account.

Annual leave entitlement

Annual leave is calculated from the 1st January to the 31st December each year. Your entitlement will be visabile from within Your online employee account.

Changes to Annual Leave Policy

This Annual Leave Policy replaces all previous versions. We reserve the right to change the Annual Leave Policy at any time.
