How do I download a copy of my content?

To get a copy of your Content you need to do this in the GDPR Centre via your online account, due to the potential size of your content this can not be sent via e-mail.

Your Content includes:-

  • Product configuration details;
  • Website content (such as pages and ecommerce items);
  • Uploaded media.

To download a copy of your Content, do the following:-

  1. First tap or click  My account from the menu;
  2. Then tap or click the GDPR Centre tab;
  3. Finally, under Your Content, tap or click Download your content.

Note

The download will contain a large number of files compressed inside a ZIP folder. For ECHO WebBuilder users the files will contain raw (JSON formatted) data only, and all uploaded media (such as images and videos). It does not include HTML versions of your website pages. 

GDPR Protection

The download will be password protected. Once you start the download we will e-mail you with the file password. 

Compatible Applications Required

The download will be in a ZIP file format. You will need to use a compatible application such as 7-zip or WinRAR to successfully decompress the data and remove the password encryption. Due to the encryption method used you can not use the standard Windows Explorer ZIP file system to access the password protected files.
