How do I authorise another user to access my ECHO WebBuilder?

You can allow other users access to your ECHO WebBuilder without sharing your own email address and password with them.

To add a new authorised contact and grant access, do the following:-

  1. First tap or click  My account from the menu;
  2. Then scroll down to Additional Contacts and then tap or click Add an authorised contact;
  3. Now complete the displayed fields with the users details;
  4. Now, under Special Roles, tap or click the toggle switch for Allow the email address above access to your ECHO WebBuilder for 90 days (if should turn blue to enable access);
  5. Finally tap or click Create.

To grant access to an existing authorised contact, do the following:-

  1. First tap or click  My account from the menu;

  2. Then scroll down to Additional Contacts and then tap or click the contact you want to authorise access for;
  3. Now, under Special Roles, tap or click the toggle switch for Allow the email address above access to your ECHO WebBuilder for 90 days (if should turn blue to enable access);
  4. Finally tap or click Create.

Note

The email address you are granting access for will need to have an existing Blue Ring account. If they do not you will receive a warning that access could not be granted and to try again after the user as created an account. Once the user has created an account simply navigate to the authorised contact and reselect Allow the email address above access to your ECHO WebBuilder for 90 days and then Save Changes.
