What is a FAQ section?

One of the most important sections on your website is the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). The best FAQ sections can convince new customers, close sales, and save you time answering repetitive questions.

How do I create a new FAQ?

To create a new FAQ, do the following:-

  1. First tap or click  FAQ's from the menu;
  2. Then tap or click Create new FAQ;
  3. Now complete the displayed fields:-
    • Question - Enter the Frequently Asked Question, and don't forget to end this with a question mark. It's best to keep this less than 10 words long and try to include 1 keyword to help boost your on page SEO.
    • Answer - Enter the answer to the Frequently Asked Question. It's a good idea to be descriptive here, you want to make sure you fully answer the question. Aim for at least 50 words and try to include 1 or 2 keywords to help boost you on page SEO.
    • FAQ Icon - Select an icon from the list that best represents your Frequently Asked Question.
  4. Finally, tap or click Create.

How do I edit a FAQ?

  3. Now update the displayed fields as needed:-

How do I configure the general FAQ settings?

To configure the general FAQ settings do the following:-

  1. First tap or click  FAQ's from the menu;
  2. Then tap or click the FAQ settings  tab;
  3. Now mend the displayed fields as needed:-
    • Display this section in menu's and on the home page - Select if the Frequently Asked Question section is to be displayed. If it is to be displayed, choose whether this will show on the home page and have a link in the menu, or if it will just show as a section on the home page.
    • FAQ's heading - This is the title that will be shown just above the FAQ section on the home page, and will also be used as the menu link if you have chosen to enable that above. You should keep this less than 5 words long, and be sure to include at least 1 keyword to help boost your on page SEO.
    • FAQ's subheading - You can include a subheading for the Frequently Asked Question section, which will appear with the heading above. You should keep this less than 10 words long, and be sure to include at least 1 keyword to help boost your on page SEO.
    • Maximum number of FAQ's to show on the home page - Set the maximum number of Frequently Asked Questions to show on your home page. Each time the home page is loaded these items are shuffled so a different selection is shown each time and in a different order. We recommend setting this to 10 or less, to help boost your on page SEO.
  4. Finally, tap or click Save Changes.
