How do I create a new e-mail account for my domain?
You can create up to 5 e-mail accounts (mailboxes) for a connected domain, each sharing your 5GB e-mail storage allowance.
To create a new e-mail account, do the following:-
- First tap or click My account from the menu;
- Then tap or click the Active Product Settings tab;
- Then, under Domains & Mailboxes, tap or click the domain you want to create a new e-mail account (mailbox) for;
- Then, on the Mailbox Settings tab, tap or click Create new mailbox;
- Now complete the displayed fields:-
- Mailbox name (i.e. hello) - enter only the name for your new mailbox, and do not include your domain name. (i.e. hello not hello@example.com);
- Mailbox password - enter a strong password for your new e-mail account (mailbox). For tips on how to create a strong password see Username and password best practices.
- Finally tap or click Create.
Note
The server will take a few minutes to create the new e-mail account (mailbox) and an e-mail will be sent to your main e-mail address once this is completed and ready for use. If you already have other e-mail accounts (mailboxes) setup you will receive a 'Mailbox Updated' e-mail for each of them, as their storage allowance is updated when you add new e-mail accounts (mailboxes).
